Opportunity:

Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* Temp to perm opportunity
* 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
* Holiday rotation required
* Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
* May be required to float or be permanently switched to CSC, ART, or West Campus
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Travel experience required
* Experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap required
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA (IAHCSMM)
* BLS not required
* Guaranteed hours: Facility is permitted to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* No more than 2 callouts without a doctor's note; 3rd callout may result in removal
* No more than 3 tardies permitted
* If holidays are not requested in RTO and the facility is open, traveler is expected to work
* Traveler will be assigned to Inclement Weather Team A or B per management expectations
* Skills required include: aseptic technique, biological indicators, high-level disinfection, immediate-use steam sterilization, scope/probe reprocessing, sets/tray assembly, sterilization wrapping procedures, use of washers/sterilizers, and robotics among others
* Preferred patient diagnoses experience includes neonates
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The facility provides a high-acuity environment supporting a wide range of surgical specialties and complex patient care needs. Parking is available with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass, applicable for nights and weekends only.
