Open Position: RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3717.20

Opportunity:

RAPID RESPONSE

Job Details:

* 6-week assignment with 48 hours per week
* Shift hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* On-call required 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month with possible holiday coverage
* Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital Interventional Radiology Tech experience required
* Neuro interventional experience required (Strokes, Aneurysms, SAH)
* Required certifications: ARRT RT (R) and BLS - must be provided in submission packet
* Work in a unit with 5 Interventional Radiology suites
* Patient ratio of 2 IR Techs and 1 IR RN
* Equipment includes 4 Siemens Bi-planes and 1 Siemens Single plane
* EMR systems include Meditech and GE Centricity PACS
* Perform procedures including Comprehensive Stroke Center cases (Strokes, Aneurysms, SAH, DVST) and Level 1 Trauma Center procedures (GIB, EMBOs, Gastronomy Tubes, Nephrostomy)
* Expert knowledge of Vascular Interventional Radiology procedures with minimal guidance preferred
* Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced interventional lab and team environment

This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center housing a busy Interventional Radiology department with 5 fully equipped suites. The facility operates as both a Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Level 1 Trauma Center, supporting a wide range of complex interventional procedures. The unit fosters a collaborative, team-oriented environment and utilizes advanced imaging technology to deliver high-quality patient care.
