Opportunity:

RN - Surgical Oncology

Job Details:

* Work on a 30-bed Surgical Oncology unit with a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6
* Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse Coordinator, 5-6 RNs, and 2 PCTs
* Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse Coordinator, 5-6 RNs, and 2 PCTs
* Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts per month required
* Perform medication administration, chest tube management, NGT management, and Foley management
* Operate equipment including Baxter pumps, SCD machine, Mobilab, and glucometer
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Strong communication and compassion/empathy skills required
* IV insertion and chemotherapy experience preferred
* Must be able to work effectively as part of a team
* Float to Medical Oncology and Med/Surg units as needed
* Required certification: BLS
* Dress code: Royal blue scrubs
