Opportunity:

RN - Post Partum

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Located on the 4th floor of the Women's Center
* 32 operational beds on unit
* Patient ratio of 1:3 couplets, which may vary based on patient mix
* No on-call requirement
* Floating may be required to Antepartum for postpartum overflow and Labor & Delivery recoveries
* EMR systems used: Meditech and CPN
* Must have couplet care competencies and breastfeeding support skills - candidates without these skills will not be considered
* Preferred experience includes Mother Baby charge experience and late-preterm or transitional newborn experience
* Typical procedures include newborn screenings, blood glucose monitoring, jaundice monitoring, perineal and incision care, and feeding support
* Work collaboratively with OB physicians, pediatricians, and lactation specialists
* Unit follows evidenced-based policies for patient care including hourly rounding, bedside shift report, and collaboration and teamwork standards
* Ideal candidate is compassionate, team-oriented, detail-focused, and works well under pressure
