Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

* 13-week assignment on a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/6W Renal PCU)
* Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Three 12-hour shifts per week
* Guaranteed 36/40 hours per week
* Weekend requirements to be discussed during interview
* Call requirements to be discussed during interview
* Patient ratio of 4:1 in an 18-bed unit
* PCU or ICU experience required (minimum 2 years)
* BSN preferred
* Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Floating policy applies as needed
* Procedures performed on unit to be discussed during interview
* Patient experience responsibilities include hourly safety rounding, bedside shift report, and sit to commit
* Scrub color requirements apply to RN staff
* Nail policy: clean and healthy nails required; no artificial nails, gel, or next gen nails permitted
* Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings

The progressive care unit maintains an 18-bed capacity with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, ensuring quality patient care.
