Open Position: RN - Mother Baby Postpartum

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1749.64

Opportunity:

RN - Postpartum / Newborn Nursery

Job Details:

* 7:00 PM shift with every other weekend required
* 13-week assignment
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Minimum 2+ years of hospital experience required
* Must be able to care for high-risk antepartum patients as well as postpartum recoveries
* Newborn nursery experience required
* NRP and BLS certifications required
* Active Texas RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
* Performs IV placement procedures
* Experience with antepartum care and newborn nursery care required
* Meditech documentation system experience preferred
* Advanced FM experience is a plus
* RNC-OB certification is a plus but not required
* Call requirements to be discussed during interview
* Floating on an as-needed basis
* Dress code: Royal blue scrubs for RNs
* Nails must be clean and healthy with no artificial nails, gel, or next-generation nails
* Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited

This facility is a well-established hospital offering a comprehensive postpartum and newborn nursery unit equipped to care for high-risk antepartum patients as well as postpartum recoveries. The unit utilizes the Meditech documentation system and maintains high standards for patient care. The facility provides a supportive environment with a structured floating policy and attendance guidelines to ensure consistent, quality care for its patient population.
