Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2756.20

Opportunity:

PT - Outpatient

Job Details:

* ASAP start needed
* Preferred schedule of five 8-hour shifts, but open to four 10-hour shifts with somewhat variable hours
* No weekend rotation required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Facility is closed on major holidays; may work up to 50% of minor holidays
* Minimum 1 year of outpatient experience required
* Maine PT license required
* BLS certification required
* Bachelor's degree or above required
* Treat a variety of patients including adults and school-aged children with post-orthopedic, post-spinal surgery, geriatric, work injury, and neurological conditions
* Skills required include manual therapy, exercise science, patient education, and education on adaptive equipment such as walkers, canes, and crutches
* EMR system: Cerner PowerChart
* Any solid color scrubs or business casual attire accepted
* Free parking available
* Orientation includes NEO followed by approximately one to one and a half weeks of partnered orientation with an increasing patient load

This outpatient rehabilitation facility serves a rural community and offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The therapy department includes physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology staff. Support is readily available through an assistant supervisor on-site and a manager accessible by phone, providing a well-structured team environment for traveling clinicians.
