Opportunity:

RN - MS/Tele

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Float between 2 MS/Tele units and must be open to floating where most needed
* Patient ratios of 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week (facility may call off up to 6 times throughout a 13-week assignment)
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Locals accepted
* Blocked scheduling considered depending on unit needs with unit manager approval
* RTO requires unit manager approval
* Traveler will be working in a flex pool and must be open to floating where most needed
* ICU/PCU experience preferred but strong MS/Tele experience will be considered
* Will float to all MS/Tele units including Cardiac/Observation, Stroke, Ortho/Trauma and Total Joint, Orthopedic Spine, and Palliative/Peritoneal Dialysis/Thyroid Ablation units
* All RNs required to float to the Cardiac Monitoring Room
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Charting system: Cerner (preferred)
* Free parking available
* Standard MS/Tele equipment used including Liko lifts available in almost all patient rooms
* Special equipment includes Bladder Scanner, IV Ultrasound Placement Equipment, Interpreter Cart, EKG Machine, Mechanical Lift system, and Remote Telemetry monitoring
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid participating compact license required (can submit with pending)

This short-term acute care teaching facility and Level IV trauma center operates with 87 staffed beds and provides a comprehensive range of medical services. The facility offers robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services including on-site Navajo interpreters, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The organization is committed to quality patient care and safety standards including medication administration via BCMA.
