Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Holiday rotation required
* Patient ratio of 1:4 for days, nights, and weekends
* Floating within scope required, same expectation as current staff nurses with agency floating first
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 2 years of experience required with prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience
* First-time travelers accepted with prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience
* SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Preferred certification: NIHSS
* Preferred charting experience: Epic
* Scrub color: Royal blue
* Free parking available
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams, with peak activity in August and September

This facility is a community-based hospital featuring a 12-bed Stepdown unit dedicated to providing specialized intermediate care for adult and geriatric patients. The unit supports a wide range of clinical needs including cardiac telemetry, neurological care, and post-surgical recovery. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and maintains consistent staffing ratios to ensure high-quality patient care across all shifts.
