RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Labor and Delivery unit with 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, 6 triage rooms, and 3 L&D ORs
* Night shift staffing matrix of 8-10 staff including 1 charge nurse, 7-9 RNs, and 1 CST
* Patient ratios of 2:1, with 1:1 for complicated patients
* Work with FHR monitors including Novii and GE systems, as well as fetal scalp electrodes (FSE)
* EMR systems used: CPN and Meditech
* Perform vaginal deliveries and C-section deliveries
* Deliver care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
* Responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care for labor and delivery, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum patients
* Minimum of 1 year of current hospital L&D experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN or EFM
* Mom/Baby, Pediatrics, and/or NICU experience preferred
* Ideal candidate is flexible, friendly, and dependable
