Opportunity:

RN L&D NIGHTS- Memorial Hospital Central

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on various days of the week
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs
* On-call required per unit need
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for Labor & Delivery; antepartum or postpartum ratios up to 4:1
* Float required to other units within the same service line; may also be required to float to sister facility Memorial Hospital North
* Charting system: Epic required
* Self-scheduling environment
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults
* Unit consists of 15 beds and 15 rooms with a daily census of approximately 10 patients
* Handles high-risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients
* Special procedures include inductions, cesarean sections, cerclage, and D&C
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred; Trauma Level II experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM

This facility is part of a well-established health system offering comprehensive women's and newborn services, including high-risk obstetric care. The Labor & Delivery unit is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team that includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries. The organization maintains high standards of patient care and provides a collaborative environment for traveling healthcare professionals.
