RN BMT/ONC

Job Details:

* Rotating shifts with various days of the week
* Weekend shifts required based on unit needs
* No on-call requirements
* Care for adult patients with blood cancers receiving chemotherapy, biotherapies, and cellular therapies including stem cell transplants and CAR-T
* Float between BMT/Oncology and CTU units as needed, as well as sister facilities within the metro region based on facility needs
* Nurse-to-patient ratio of 3-4:1, with flexibility to adjust based on staffing and unit needs
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Navy
* 2 years of acute care BMT/Hematology experience required with chemotherapy administration experience
* Travel experience required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ONC Certification, Chemo (ONS/ONCC)
* Colorado or Compact RN License required
* Must be comfortable working in environments with flexible staffing ratios
* Key skills required include: administration of chemotherapy, BMT, CAR-T, central line care, management of cytotoxic spills, neutropenic precautions, stem cell therapies, and additional oncology-related competencies

Facility:

This facility is home to a specialized oncology and bone marrow transplant unit caring for patients with blood cancers undergoing chemotherapy, biotherapies, and advanced cellular therapies such as stem cell transplants and CAR-T. The unit is expanding from 36 to 51 beds and offers interdisciplinary support to ensure comprehensive patient care. The facility maintains high standards of care and utilizes Epic for charting across its units.
