Opportunity:

RN - MS/Tele Ortho

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3 days per week
* Every other weekend requirement
* Holiday rotation as needed
* No call or standby requirement
* Patient ratio of 1:5 with nurse aides at a maximum ratio of 1:12
* 34-bed unit focused on total joints, cardiac rule out, pneumonia, psych, and general surgery post-op patients
* Required to titrate drips including weight-based heparin
* Experience with Nitro, Insulin initiation, low dose dopamine and dobutamine required
* Must be comfortable working with CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow equipment
* RNs are required to read telemetry strips with monitor tech support available
* Charge nurse and house supervisor available on unit
* Floating may be required to Med Tele, PCU, or ICU to care for MedSurg acuity patients or ER holding
* Primary placement at St. Clare Hospital with potential float requirements throughout Region Two facilities in Tacoma, Enumclaw, and Lakewood, WA
* Professional scrubs in any color required
* Charting system is EPIC; experienced travelers may test out of EPIC orientation
* One full shift of orientation provided after meeting with unit educator
* BSN not required
* Required certification: BLS (AHA)
