RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

* Work 4x10-hour day shifts with start times varying between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM
* Unit is not open on weekends; however, call rotation is required for inpatient, urgent, and emergent cases
* Weekend call runs from Friday evening through Monday morning, subject to change based on unit needs
* Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, and airway management
* Must be comfortable managing cardiac drips including Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressins, as well as balloon pumps
* Cases vary from 10 to 22 per day across 5 suites covering coronary, peripheral, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology cases
* Current cath lab experience required; travelers will not be cross-trained
* Scrubbing is not required
* EMR system: Merge for cath lab documentation, Cerner for hospital charting
* Hospital scrubs provided
* No floating required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS (all must be through AHA)
* Current California RN license required
* Basic EKG interpretation test assigned during orientation
* Radiation badge provided by agency

This acute care facility operates a full-service Cardiac Cath Lab with 5 specialized suites dedicated to coronary, peripheral, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology cases. The facility functions as a designated STEMI Center, providing around-the-clock coverage for urgent and emergent cardiac interventions. The lab is supported by a experienced team of technicians and staff, utilizing industry-leading EMR systems to deliver high-quality patient care.
