Opportunity:
Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech
Job Details:
* Day shift position with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* On-call required with 8-10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage
* 2 Cath Lab rooms
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Perform procedures including Pediatric/Adult Transplant, Right/Left Biopsy, Balloon, Stent, and Valve Placement; may also include Interventional Radiology (preferably pediatric)
* Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab experience preferred; EP experience preferred
* Diagnoses and procedures include congenital heart patients, heart cath procedures, pediatric/adult transplant, biopsy, balloon/stents, and valve replacements
* Skills required include Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult and Pediatric/Neonatal), and Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
* Charting system: EPIC
* Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called-off hours can be broken down to equal 1 shift
* Parking cost applies for nights and weekends only with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Required certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association only); CCI with RCIS/RCES preferred; ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) also acceptable
* Travelers should be aware that all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November), with peak activity in August and September
