Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2878.80

Opportunity:

Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 5 x 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 2 years of recent outpatient physical therapy experience required, 5 years preferred
* Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required if license obtained on or after January 2016 or foreign equivalent
* Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
* Complete patient evaluations to ensure quality standards and address areas requiring attention
* Utilize appropriate clinical techniques and tools to establish individualized treatment plans
* Provide therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques
* Establish individualized care and discharge plans and communicate plans to appropriate parties
* Complete comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines
* Supervise assigned therapy assistants
* Serve as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups

This facility is a 50-bed acute care medical center offering a comprehensive range of services including a level IV trauma center, level II intensive care nursery services, an extensive physical rehabilitation program, outpatient surgery and diagnostic center, and an advanced wound care center. The facility has been deeply connected to its local community since 1956, providing high-quality care across multiple specialties and disciplines.
