Job Details:

* 4x10 day shift schedule
* On-call requirements will be discussed during interview
* Vascular on-call: 7 to 10 days including weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
* Hearts on-call: 10 to 15 days and 2 weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
* On-call frequency varies based on staffing levels
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Scrub surgical cases - does not circulate, but may assist the nurse in the room if needed
* Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
* Unit consists of 5 rooms and 6 beds
* Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams and Radiology
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* EPIC EMR experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA (NCCT certification accepted if ST was employed as a ST in SC prior to January 1, 2008, or completed a ST military training program)
* Required skills include: Angioplasty/stenting, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aseptic Technique, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR, Radiation Safety, Sharps Safety, Specimen Handling/Labeling, Universal Protocol (Time Out) Procedure
* Mesh measuring and additional timeout for retained or additional foreign objects skills required
* Successful completion of a Surgical Technology program or Surgical Technologist training in the U.S. Armed Forces required
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of submission and is subject to facility approval
* Must be located more than 50 miles from the specific facility to be considered
