Observation Unit

Job Details:

* Work in an Observation Unit setting with telemetry experience required
* Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Charting system experience required (any system accepted)
* Maximum 5 days of requested time off per contract
* No blocked scheduling
* Required skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response/code teams, and blood product administration
* Must be proficient in central line care/management and peripheral line care/management
* Experience managing cardiac drips (no titration) required
* Must be comfortable with nasal cannula, oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management
* Isolation precautions/PPE compliance required
* Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
* Strict dress code enforced: no facial hair, no acrylic nails, no unnatural hair colors, all tattoos must be covered, no visible body piercings other than earrings, no facial or nose rings, and earrings may not extend beyond the earlobe or be hoop earrings
