RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work 4x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a 30-minute unpaid meal break
* Four weekend shifts (Friday night and/or Saturday night) required every 4-week schedule
* Float to sister perinatal unit as needed
* 3+ years of L&D experience in a high-risk facility required
* Couplet care experience required
* Experience in an academic setting preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Care for patients throughout their childbirth experience including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum/couplet care
* Circulate for NSVDs and C-Sections
* Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, and adults
* Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate
* Navy scrubs required

This prestigious academic medical center is a world-renowned healthcare institution offering comprehensive women's health and perinatal services. The facility supports high-risk obstetric cases and provides an interdisciplinary care environment with access to IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretarial support. The labor and delivery unit features 10 beds across 9 rooms with a highly specialized team dedicated to complex maternal and fetal care.
