Opportunity:

RN - Acute Care

Job Details:

* Day shift from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* 36 hours per week with weekend rotation
* Unit requires solid color scrubs
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups of patients according to established standards of care
* Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze relevant patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions to attain outcomes
* Evaluate progress toward attaining patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, healing, and caring environment
* Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients, families, and treatment team
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* PALS required - preferred/optional for first contract but must be attained if extending to additional contracts
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required

The facility also offers an extensive physical rehabilitation program, outpatient surgery and diagnostic center, and an advanced wound care center, providing a comprehensive range of medical services to the surrounding community.
