Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
* No on-call required
* May need to assist with holiday coverage including one major holiday either on-call or in-house
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Must be able to circulate complex cases including Adult Heart and Lung Transplant, Type A Dissections, CABG, Valves, TAVRs, AAA, Diagnostic Lap, Exploratory Lap, EVARs, TEVARs, and FEVARs
* Scrubbing cardiac and vascular cases is highly preferred
* Service lines include Adult Cardiac, Thoracic, Transplant, Vascular, Bariatric, Panc/Bili, Colorectal, Plastics, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Urology, and MIS (5 DaVinci robotic systems on site)
* First-time travelers not preferred
* South Carolina or multi-state RN license must be in hand at start of contract
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be AHA)
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Charting system: EPIC
* Patient ratio is 1:1
* Facility may call off traveler one shift per two-week pay period
* Orientation hours: 36
* Skills required include: Aortic Aneurysm repair, CABG, IABP, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, Scrub Cardiovascular Surgery, TAVR, Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), and Circulate

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The facility operates 10 surgical rooms and sees approximately 28 cases per day, supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretaries. The organization is equipped with advanced surgical technology including five DaVinci robotic systems and utilizes EPIC for electronic charting.
