Opportunity:

Inpatient Rehab OT

Job Details:

* Inpatient rehabilitation occupational therapy position with floating between units required
* No on-call required
* Weekends required - 1 weekend per month
* Block schedules not required
* Expected patient ratio of 1:6
* Approximately 6 patient visits per day with a daily census of 40
* Patients include adults and geriatric populations
* Patient diagnoses include medical, oncology, orthopedic, surgical, neuro, and cardiac conditions
* Acute care occupational therapy experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrub color: any color
* No parking fee
* Required certifications: BLS, WA License
* Key skills include acute care, adaptive equipment assessment, CVA rehabilitation, amputee care, cognitive assessment, dementia/Alzheimer's care, hip fracture and total hip replacement, knee injuries and total knee replacement, lifting and transfer, patient/family education, pre-discharge planning, Parkinson's disease, safety and injury prevention, and upper extremity treatment
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility

This rehabilitation facility is a 91-bed teaching hospital specializing in inpatient rehabilitation services. The facility provides comprehensive care across multiple specialties including medical, oncology, orthopedic, surgical, neurological, and cardiac rehabilitation. The organization utilizes Epic for electronic charting and maintains an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, supporting both adult and geriatric patient populations.
