RN - 6W Transplant Nephrology

Job Details:

* 48 hours guaranteed per week
* 3 weekend shifts required per month
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratio of 1:6
* 20-bed unit
* Agency/contract nurses float first per floating policy
* Required skill set includes med/surg, nephrology, kidney transplants, renal, and dialysis experience
* ADN degree required
* BLS certification required
* Performs med/surg care; dialysis is conducted off the unit
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Dress code: Royal blue scrubs; black scrub pants permitted
* Unit support includes unit secretary during the day, PCTs, and a unit educator
* Virtual nurse completes patient admissions, allowing bedside nurses to focus on other patients
