Job Details:

* Work five 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday, with potential for four 10-hour shifts depending on department staffing
* Night shift coverage is on-call only
* Patient ratio is 1:1
* Call coverage required with full-time staff rotation, approximately 5 shifts per month consisting of 1 weekend and evening weekday coverage
* Average call days per month range from 5 to 8 depending on the month and rotation schedule
* Work within a team of 5 to 6 nurses per shift alongside 1 Charge Nurse Coordinator
* Perform and assist with orthopedic surgery including total joints, revisions, and fractures
* Perform and assist with general surgery including robotic, laparoscopic, and open procedures
* Perform and assist with colorectal surgery including robotic procedures
* Perform and assist with urological surgery
* Perform and assist with gynecological surgery including robotic and laparoscopic procedures
* Operate and work with equipment including daVinci Xi, Hologic Trident, Stryker laparoscopic towers, Hana table, and Olympus Cystoscopy Tower
* Use Meditech EMR system; prior Meditech experience preferred
* Responsibilities include pulling case carts, providing family updates by phone or Surgical Symphony text, lunch and break relief, and acting as second nurse and support for after-hours recovery nurse
* Facility-dispensed scrubs provided; no personal scrub color required
* No floating required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Meditech experience and prior HCA experience preferred
