Opportunity:

RN - PCU/ICU

Job Details:

* Primarily PCU with float to ICU
* Day shifts available from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend requirement - Days: Saturday and Sunday; Nights: Friday and Saturday
* Holiday rotation with permanent staff required
* No scrub color requirements
* Float eligible between all ICUs and PCU within Region Two facilities in Washington state, with rate differential when floated outside of primary location
* ICU patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2; PCU patient ratios: 1:3
* ICU level drips required; PCU drips include Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, and Heparin - no pressors in PCU
* Ventilator experience required for ICU (no vents in PCU)
* IABP or CRRT experience not required unless traveler has that experience
* Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
* Charting system: EPIC
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS
* BSN not required
* Orientation: minimum 2 shifts up to 1 week with an educator
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks

Facility:

This acute care facility operates an 82-bed critical care unit spanning three separate floors, including 48 ICU beds and 34 PCU beds. The facility provides comprehensive support services including 24/7 respiratory therapy, 24/7 pharmacy, an IV team, and telemonitor technicians in the PCU. Physician coverage includes dayshift intensivists on site, with virtual ICU support and an ARNP available for overnight procedures.
