Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour shifts per week
* 11-bed emergency room unit with a 1:4 patient ratio
* Work alongside tenured RNs and Critical Care Paramedics
* May be floated to other ERs within the health system on a PRN basis
* Minimum of 1 year of ER experience required
* Basic respiratory care knowledge required including breathing treatments, ABGs, BiPAP, and travel vent
* Must be able to work with equipment including Parapac Plus travel vent, Phillips V60 for BiPAP, EKG, GE Cardiac Monitoring, Alaris IV Pumps, Lucas device, and Lifepak Defibrillators
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Required certifications: Active RN license in good standing, BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI
* Must require minimal oversight
* Navy scrubs required

This free-standing emergency room facility is a clean, organized, and well-maintained facility that has been in operation for several years. The unit holds TJC Chest Pain with PCI and Primary Stroke Center Certification and offers Tele-Psych and Tele-Neuro consult availability. The facility boasts a compassionate, team-driven culture with more than 50% of staff having worked there for 5 or more years, all RNs holding greater than 5 years of experience, and 24/7 security in the ER. The department's patient satisfaction scores rank within the top 5% across the organization.
