Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Every other weekend schedule required
* On-call requirements apply
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* 13-week assignment
* Minimum 2+ years of emergency room experience required
* Required certifications: PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS
* Active Texas RN license required - temporary license will not be accepted
* CEN certification preferred
* Meditech documentation system experience preferred
* Strong teamwork and communication skills preferred
* All travelers are required to float per the Methodist Floating Policy
* Perform procedures including conscious sedation, intubations, behavioral health watch, sepsis management, stroke care including TPA administration, and chest pain/heart alerts
* Dress code: Navy scrubs required with white, navy, or black undershirts and jackets only; no acrylic nails, nails must be clean and no longer than one inch with no chipped nail polish; hair must be off shoulders and natural color; body art should be covered whenever possible; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
