RT Adult Care

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, schedule determined based on facility needs and candidate availability
* Weekend and holiday shifts required
* No on-call or standby call requirements
* No solo shifts - always working alongside other respiratory therapists
* Primary need is Days West Campus, though working both West and East campuses may occur
* West Campus serves adult patients; East Campus serves all ages
* Treat 15 or more patients per day in ER, ICU, CVICU, and ward settings
* Patient population includes adults with some pediatric and infant patients in the ER setting
* Perform ABGs, EKGs, ventilator management, BiPAP, CPAP, and general respiratory therapy work
* Assist with intubation across all areas
* Must have adult critical care experience and confidence in this area
* Floating between campuses may be required
* Operate respiratory equipment including Avea, LTV, and Zoll ventilators, V60, V30, SiPAP, Vapotherm, and Optiflow for hospital transfers
* Chart using Cerner system
* Dress code requires black scrubs with no logos
* Orientation includes 1 day NEO and 3 days in department
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, and Certified Respiratory Technician (CRT) verification
* CRT acceptable in lieu of RRT
