Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $4003.36

Opportunity:

RN - MS/Tele

Job Details:

* 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Float to similar units is required if needed
* Weekend coverage required every other weekend, subject to change based on need
* Patient ratios: 6 patients during days, 7 patients during nights and weekends
* Daily census of 30 patients with a 30-bed unit
* Patients include adults and geriatric age groups
* Patient diagnoses include general medical, pre and post-operative care
* Special procedures include post heart cath care and bedside procedures such as dialysis cath, thoracentesis, and I&D
* Medication system: Omnicell
* Must have at least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
* Must have at least 1 year of MS/Tele experience
* First-time travelers will be reviewed based on experience
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Must hold an active RN Tennessee license
* Required skills include blood product administration, central line care and management, heparin protocols, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions and PPE, management of cardiac drips without titration, pre and post hemodialysis management, wound care and wound vac, PICC line management, PCA, peripheral line care and management, and starting and maintaining IVs
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
