Job Details:

* Provide basic equipment-related patient assessments and coordinate equipment setup
* Block scheduling type
* Expect to work some holidays and weekends
* Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include COPD and sleep apnea
* Work with special equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, tracheostomy equipment, apnea monitors, and cough assist devices
* Skills required include apnea monitor operation, BiPAP, CPAP/Nasal CPAP, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) care, suctioning (ETT, NT), trach collar, and tracheostomy care/management
* Charting system experience in Epic preferred
* Minimum 1 year of previous respiratory care experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: RRT, BLS
* Required license: MD License
* May be required to float in rotation with facility staff in accordance with floating policies

This healthcare facility offers a comprehensive respiratory services department supported by interdisciplinary teams including interpretation services. The facility maintains a focused patient care environment with a daily census of approximately 10 patients and provides specialized respiratory care across multiple age groups.
