RN - Surgical Telemetry

Job Details:

* Work on a 19-bed Surgical Telemetry Unit located on the 1st floor of B Tower
* Patient ratio of 1:6
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 3-4 nurses (RN/LVN mix), and 1-2 PCTs
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 3-4 nurses (RN/LVN mix), and 1-2 PCTs
* Utilize Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn VS machines
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Perform patient ambulation and wound care as needed
* Float to Ortho Trauma (sister department) and Inpatient Rehab as needed
* Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical experience required
* Charge experience preferred
* Preceptor experience preferred
* Required certification: BLS
* Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
* No on-call or weekend requirements
