Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Room

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week based on facility approval
* No on-call requirements
* Rotating weekend schedule
* Patient ratios of 1:4 ED, 1:5 behavioral health, and 1:3 cardiac/trauma
* Work within a 48-bed emergency department including private rooms, hallway stretchers, fast track, and behavioral health areas
* Perform procedures including splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central line management, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, Morgan lens, rapid infuser use, and resuscitation
* Operate equipment including Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers
* Document using MEDITECH EMR system
* Meditech experience preferred
* Trauma experience preferred
* Holding inpatient experience preferred
* CPI preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
* RN dress code: Navy blue scrubs
* Must be a multitasker, team player, and self-starter

Facility:

This emergency services facility operates a large 48-bed department featuring private rooms, hallway stretchers, fast track areas, and dedicated behavioral health spaces. The unit is equipped with advanced medical technology and staffed by an experienced team that includes charge nurses, mid-shift staff, PCTs, paramedics, and LVNs. The department maintains an active unit-based council and social committee, fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment.
