Open Position: RN - PACU

Opportunity:

SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - PACU (704) - HCA HealthONE Swedish - 8A - 8:30P

Job Details:

* Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
* Float between multiple PACU units including Main/Surgical Robotics and Orthopedic Surgery Center
* Work within a 59-bay facility covering Pre-Op and PACU combined across three locations
* Patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients, with same-day surgery patients potentially having up to 3 at a time, staffed per ASPAN standards
* Night shift consists of 2 RNs on unit
* Utilize GE Monitors and Meditech EMR system
* Perform pre-op and recovery care for any patient receiving anesthesia
* Care for high neuro volume patients, stroke patients, interventional radiology, TAVRs, and critical care overflow
* Surgical cases include spine, general, GI, colorectal, total joints, GYN, and robotics
* Minimum 1 year of current hospital PACU experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Stroke care experience preferred
* Critical care experience and/or additional PACU experience preferred
* Flexible and outgoing personality preferred

This facility is a full-service hospital offering a comprehensive range of surgical and medical services. The PACU unit maintains high standards of patient care, staffed per ASPAN guidelines with approximately 70 total staff members including pre-admit clinic personnel. The unit boasts a 91% employee satisfaction rate and is equipped with modern GE monitoring technology and Meditech EMR, supporting a diverse and high-volume surgical program that includes robotics, neuroscience, and orthopedic specialties.
