Open Position: MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

* Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
* Position located on the 3rd floor of the main building in the MRI/Magnetic Resonance unit
* Work with GE Artist 1.5T scanner, 3T Siemens Tim Trio, 3T GE GEM, and 1.5T GE Signa equipment
* EMR systems used: Meditech and Centricity
* Patient ratio is 1:1 (estimated and never guaranteed)
* Perform neuro, anesthesia, and IV sedation procedures
* Administer contrast agents and operate equipment and protocols
* Minimum 6 months of current MRI Tech experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ARRT (MR)
* Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
* Experience with ICU vented patients preferred
* Ability to multi-task is essential
* Patient care experience is a priority
* 1-2 holidays per year required
* 1-2 nights of call per week required
* 1 call weekend every 6-8 weeks required

Facility:

This is a 400-bed hospital with a dedicated MRI department featuring 2-4 MRI scanners and 5-10 full-time employees. The facility offers a range of advanced imaging technology and supports a collaborative team environment with day shift typically staffed by 2-3 technologists including one in charge, one mid-shift, and one evening technologist. The facility provides a dynamic work environment with access to modern equipment and a variety of complex imaging procedures.
