Opportunity:

Labor and Delivery RN

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Schedule runs Sunday through Saturday
* Every other weekend coverage required
* Minimum 18 months of experience required
* Travel experience required - no first-time travelers
* Local candidates accepted
* Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, and adults
* Epic charting system experience required and must be noted in work history
* Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP - all must be in-hand when applying
* Two supervisor references required when applying
* Valid California state license required in-hand when applying (EMSA not accepted)
* Key clinical skills include labor and delivery, high-risk antepartum care, neonatal resuscitation, C-section circulation and recovery, fetal heart rate monitoring, magnesium sulfate therapy, pre-eclampsia/eclampsia management, hemorrhage/shock management, and triage of obstetrical patients
* Additional skills include epidural anesthesia support, Pitocin administration, VBAC management, multiple gestation care, and use of internal and external fetal monitoring

The unit supports a wide range of procedures and patient needs, from routine vaginal deliveries to complex surgical interventions, with a strong emphasis on neonatal care and maternal safety. The facility utilizes Epic as its primary charting system and maintains a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
