Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* Patient ratio of 1:5 for days, nights, and weekends
* Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
* Weekend coverage required on an as-needed basis
* Float to other units including telemetry as required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers welcome
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS - must be in-hand when applying
* Epic charting system experience required and must be noted in work history
* Two supervisor references required when applying
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Self-scheduling environment
* Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Required skills include but are not limited to: telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, wound care/wound vac, tracheostomy care/management, PICC line management, heparin and insulin administration, interpretation of dysrhythmias, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, PCA management, continuous bladder irrigation, and total joint replacement care

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a Med/Surg unit with 30 beds across 21 rooms, maintaining a daily census of approximately 20 patients. The unit specializes in orthopedic surgery and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support to ensure high-quality patient care. The facility offers a collaborative care environment with access to multiple support services and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system.
