Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Emergency Department assignment with 24 beds
* Patient ratio of 4:1, with 5:1 during surge periods
* Night shift team includes 4 RNs, 1 EMT, and 1 charge nurse
* Utilize GE monitors and document using Meditech/CPN EMR system
* Perform procedures including port access, IV starts, venipuncture, nasal wash, point of care testing (troponin, lactic acid, urine dip), EKG, and Foley placement
* At least 1 year of current hospital ED experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, and ENPC (PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC)
* CPI Blue Card required
* Preferred certifications: CEN, CPEN, and US IV competency
* Pediatric Emergency Department experience preferred for pediatric ED cases
