Job Details:

* Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Weekend coverage required as needed, typically every 3rd weekend
* No on-call responsibilities required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Level I trauma experience required; highly skilled clinicians with recent Level II trauma experience in a like-size or larger facility may be considered
* Must have experience in general, ortho, spine, trauma, and neuro (specifically craniotomies)
* Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid participating compact license required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
* Scrubs are provided for OR RNs
* Charting system: Cerner experience preferred
* High volume, fast-paced OR environment with 11 rooms covering ortho, trauma, spine, and all other specialties
* Minimal pediatrics experience required
* Scrubbing experience is a plus for RN staff
* May float to other areas as helping hands based on job role and abilities
* Block scheduling not guaranteed but unit will make best efforts to accommodate

This short-term acute care facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level I trauma center operating 268 staffed beds. The facility features an 11-room operating suite with high-volume orthopedic, trauma, and spine cases, supported by an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more. The organization maintains high standards for quality and patient safety, including medication administration protocols.
