Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Opportunity:

RRT - Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* Every other weekend schedule required (Friday/Saturday)
* No on-call responsibilities
* 2+ years of registered respiratory therapist experience required
* Must be comfortable with mechanical ventilators
* Must be comfortable with EKGs
* Travel experience preferred
* CRTs will be accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NBRC
* Michigan state license required
* Provide respiratory care services to patients requiring emergency care, intensive care, and therapeutic treatment
* Perform invasive and non-invasive monitoring and diagnostic testing
* Provide patient education for pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders
* Monitor and maintain respiratory care equipment
* Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities
