Job Details:

* Work 4 shifts per week from noon to midnight
* Block schedules are required
* Weekend coverage required as needed with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per schedule
* No on-call required
* Patient ratio of 1:4 for days, nights, and weekends
* Charge experience required - must have charge capabilities to fill in as needed
* When serving as charge nurse, will take patients in a triage or patient load capacity
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* At least 1 year of emergency department experience required
* Epic charting system experience
* Treat patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Average daily census of 40 patients with 8 beds in the unit
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* RN dress code: Navy Blue scrubs

* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy

This short-term acute care facility operates as a Level IV Trauma Center with 49 total staffed beds.
