Job Details:

* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Every other weekend required; 12 weekend shifts per contract
* No on-call requirements
* Local candidates accepted within 50-mile radius
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted
* Patient ratios: 4 patients per nurse on nights and weekends
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of 12 patients
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Navy Blue for RNs
* Required certifications: BLS
* Required skills include: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, med/surg, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy (required skill), starting and maintaining IVs
* Special procedures include: breast flaps, PCA, blood administration, chest tubes, digital chest tubes (Medela), continuous bladder irrigations, and high flow
* Special equipment: safe patient handling equipment
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more
* Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during compliance process and prior to start; may include Charge RNs/Leads
