RN - Telemetry

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Schedule includes Monday through Friday and weekends
* Patient ratio of 1:4 for days, nights, and weekends
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Float required as needed
* Weekend coverage required as needed for staffing
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required - no first-time travelers
* Locals accepted at the same rate
* Epic charting system experience required and must be noted in work history
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Preferred certifications: OCN, ONS/ONCC
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required skills include: Heparin Protocols, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care/management, and telemetry monitoring
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Two supervisor references required when applying
* No requested time off within the first two weeks of assignment; maximum 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract highly preferred
* Valid California state license required in-hand when applying; EMSA not accepted
* All required certifications must be in-hand when applying
