Opportunity:

Telemetry RN

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three shifts per week
* Holiday coverage required unless included in approved time off
* Every other weekend coverage required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units and sister facilities
* Cares for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Unit operates with 24 beds and a daily census of 18 patients
* Facility is permitted to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Parking is available at no cost with a parking pass distributed at badge pickup; garage clearance limited to average-sized SUVs and trucks
* Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Required skills: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry monitoring
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* South Carolina or multi-state/compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Preferred certification: NIHSS
* Patient ratio experience of 1:5 required
* Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius

This acute care hospital features 304 staffed beds and provides a comprehensive range of inpatient services. The facility supports patients across multiple specialties and is equipped with modern technology, including Epic charting. The telemetry unit maintains 24 beds and benefits from robust interdisciplinary support services, ensuring collaborative and high-quality patient care across adult and geriatric populations.
