Open Position: RN - ICU

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* Work in a 26-bed ICU unit on the 2nd floor of the main building
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Every other weekend shift required
* No on-call responsibilities for agency staff
* Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
* 1-2 years of ICU experience required
* Cardiovascular or Neuro ICU experience preferred
* Float to CVIMCU and IMCU as needed
* Work with equipment including mechanical ventilators, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and EKOS
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform or assist with procedures including intubation, bedside ECMO cannulation, chest tube insertion, bedside tracheostomy, and central line insertions
* Day and night shifts staffed with 1 charge RN, 1 rapid response RN, and 8 bedside RNs
* Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS
* Must be accountable and take ownership of actions in a fast-paced critical care environment
