Open Position: RN - EP Lab

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3366.20

Job Details:

* Work 4 ten-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM) with rotating day off, or 5 eight-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
* Weeknight and weekend call rotation approximately once every 3 weekdays and once every 3 weekends (Friday through Monday)
* May be asked to participate in holiday call
* 30-minute call response time required
* No floating requirements
* Work across 7 total rooms (4 Cath Lab/EP and 3 IR) with 20+ cases per day across all rooms
* EP cases include ablations (A-Fib, A-Flutter, SVT, VT, etc.), EP studies with programmed stimulation, pacemaker and ICD placements, and loop recorder implants
* Daily staffing includes: Cath Lab (1 RN, 3 Techs), EP (3 to 4 person team), IR (1 RN, 2 Techs), and STEMI Call Team (1 RN and 3 Techs)
* Job duties include verifying orders and consent, head-to-toe assessment, patient education, room setup, circulating cases, administering moderate sedation, assisting anesthesia providers, continuous hemodynamic monitoring, documentation, and team coordination
* Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required
* IABP experience is required
* EMR and equipment used: Merge and Cerner
* Provided scrubs; personal scrub caps are permitted
* Orientation includes 2 to 3 full days of training and shadowing with buddy call; no call during first week, buddy call during second week, then independent call
* Must clock in and out at the facility
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)

Facility:

This acute care facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center offering a comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional radiology program. The department operates seven specialized rooms dedicated to electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, and interventional radiology procedures. The facility maintains a dedicated STEMI response team and provides robust support through experienced team leads who manage scheduling and staffing across the department.
