Job Details:

* Block scheduling type
* On-call required with rotating weekend call every 8 weeks
* Friday on-call: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
* Saturday on-call: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
* Sunday on-call: 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM
* Weekends are not required outside of rotating on-call schedule
* 48-hour shifts are not approved
* Scrub color: Any color accepted
* Charting system: Epic
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA
* Must be comfortable with acute hospital OR skills
* Required skills include: cleaning equipment (crash carts, IV pumps, PCA pumps), high-level disinfection (HLD), use of washers/sterilizers, case cart management, proper selection of wrapping materials, sterilization wrapping procedures, sets/trays assembly, and equipment documentation
* Specialty procedure experience required: Ear/Nose/Throat, General, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Plastics, and Urology
* Sterilization experience required: biological indicators, chemical indicators, steam sterilization testing/monitoring, and immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS)
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities - refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours

This facility is a Short Term Acute Care facility and Level III Trauma Center with 104 total staffed beds. The organization is committed to providing high-quality patient care across multiple specialties and maintains a supportive environment for both staff and patients. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers no-fee parking for staff.
