Job Details:

* Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiation Therapy required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates accepted (within 50-mile radius)
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrub color: Black
* Free parking provided; assignment parking given during orientation
* Orientation hours: 40 hours
* Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
* Must be willing to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Schedule type: Variable; block scheduling per manager discretion
* RTO must be included at time of submission; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* Treat patients with diagnoses including breast, prostate, lung, head and neck cancers, and variable cancers
* Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
* Approximately 35 patient visits per day
* Perform procedures including SRS, SBRT, and IMRT
* Training on Elekta equipment provided if needed
* Special equipment used: C-RAD
* Required skills include IMRT, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Respiratory Gating, SBRT, Radiation Safety, External Beam Therapy, and additional specialized procedures
* Interdisciplinary support available including Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Lift Teams, Rapid Response Teams, and Unit Secretary

Facility:

This acute care hospital features 150 staffed beds and provides comprehensive radiation therapy services to patients across a broad spectrum of cancer diagnoses. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers advanced radiation therapy equipment and technology. Interdisciplinary support teams including respiratory services, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams are available to support clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
