RN - Med-Surg Unit

Job Details:

* Provide nursing care for adult geriatric and pediatric patients on a 20-bed medical surgical unit
* 12-hour day shift with flexibility required to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
* Staffing ratios: Non-COVID patients typically 4:1 with a maximum of 5:1; COVID patients typically 2:1 with a maximum of 3:1
* Three (3) years of med-surg experience required
* One (1) year of pediatric experience required
* Must be comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients
* Required certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS
* May be assigned to assist with coverage of Flu Immunization clinics as needed
* Expected to attend staff meetings
* May be required to float to other departments in which qualified, including taking a patient load or performing task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones
