5W MedSurg Tele

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Schedule includes 3 shifts per week on weekdays with every other weekend required
* 36 hours guaranteed per week
* Float within scope of practice as needed
* Care for patients with cardiac, vascular, surgical, pulmonary, and telemetry conditions on a 32-bed unit
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience required with 1 year of in-specialty experience
* First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
* Required certifications: BLS/BCLS and ACLS through American Heart Association (AHA)
* WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission
* Charting system: Cerner
* Scrub color: Royal Blue/White (RN)
* Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
* Manager cannot guarantee blocked schedule requests
* No RTO restrictions, but must be included on application and discussed with manager during interview

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center, serving as a major teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH). With 838 total staffed beds, the facility provides a comprehensive range of medical services and supports advanced clinical education. Parking is available at no cost for travelers, and the facility utilizes Cerner for charting.
