Opportunity:

RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shift schedule
* Call required
* Every other weekend coverage required, may vary based on unit need
* Floating to other units required based on skill set
* 12-bed unit
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
* Active RN Tennessee license required
* Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
* No first-time travelers
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* Special procedures include: triage assessments, inductions, cesareans, external versions, NSTs, circumcisions, newborn resuscitation/stabilization, and Magnesium Sulfate administration
* Patient diagnoses include: term labor, antepartum surveillance, newborn care, gynecological med/surg (post-op hysterectomy, mastectomy), overflow female non-infectious non-telemetry medicals (appendectomies, pancreatitis, etc.), diabetes, and pre-eclampsia
* Patient age groups include: neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

This facility is a well-established healthcare organization offering comprehensive Labor & Delivery services within a 12-bed unit. The unit is supported by an extensive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretarial staff. The facility emphasizes quality patient care and maintains high standards for clinical competency across a wide range of obstetric and gynecological procedures.
